I think I’ve finally arrived at the place where I realize that leaving the Dig is a step in the right direction as opposed to a gamble. As cliche as it is, that “a ship is safe in the harbor—” saying is so very true right now.
More on this later, but I felt the need to mark this moment and get that thought down. A little bizarre that I’m fixated on the huge change coming up in my life as I’m getting ready for a drive-in movie on top of a downtown LA parking garage with my best friend, but maybe flying across the country was what it took to figure out exactly how the definition of “home” has and will change in the coming weeks.
